# Frequently asked questions

### What is Nomma?

Nomma is a calm recipe, meal planning and tracking web app for people with EDS, POTS, MCAS and ADHD, and anyone who wants simple food planning. [Read more about Nomma](https://nomma.pages.dev/about).

### Is the app free?

Yes. The app is free to open in your browser at [/app](https://nomma.pages.dev/app/).

### Do I need to install anything?

No. Nomma runs in the browser. On a phone you can add it to your home screen so it opens like an app, and it keeps working offline once opened.

### Is Nomma medical advice?

No. Nomma shares general information with links to NHS and charity sources. Check any change to salt, fluids, diet or medication with your GP or specialist.

### What should I eat with POTS?

Common advice is small, regular meals, plenty of fluid, and extra salt only if your doctor agrees. Our [guide to eating well with POTS, EDS and MCAS](https://nomma.pages.dev/guide) has the details and sources.
